Frequently asked questions
Do I need to have blood work?
Yes.
Your Blood Story is specifically designed around your blood work, so you will need recent blood test results before I can complete your analysis.
If you do not have recent results, please arrange these through your own doctor or laboratory first.
What if I have several blood tests?
That is absolutely fine.
You can upload more than one file.
If you have previous results that you think may provide useful context, you can include those as well.
Do I need to get a special blood test?
No special form is required.
Standard blood panels are fine.
If I need additional information after looking at what you have sent, I will let you know.
Can I send a photo instead of a PDF?
Yes.
A clear phone photograph of your printed results is absolutely fine.
You can also photograph results displayed on a screen, provided the writing is clear enough to read.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No.
Your Blood Story is a complementary health service.
I do not diagnose medical conditions, treat disease or replace your doctor.
Your blood work should continue to be discussed with your own healthcare professional where appropriate.
I am looking at your results through a complementary cell salt framework and alongside the health information you provide.
What are cell salts?
Cell salts, also called tissue salts or Schuessler salts, are twelve mineral preparations used in traditional complementary practice.
I use them as a framework for looking at patterns within your blood work and your wider health story.
Your personalised protocol will explain which salts I think are relevant to your individual picture and why.
Do I have to know anything about cell salts?
Not at all.
You do not need to know which salts you need or understand how they work before you begin.
That is what the analysis is for.
Will I be told that I have a mineral deficiency?
No.
Your Blood Story is not a medical mineral-deficiency test.
I use the traditional complementary cell salt framework to consider patterns in your blood work.
This should not be confused with a conventional medical assessment of nutrient or mineral status.
Who is this for?
Your Blood Story is for anyone who has recent blood work and would like to explore it from a complementary health perspective.
I work with people in New Zealand and internationally.
How long does it take?
Your completed protocol will be emailed to you within five working days of receiving your complete intake.
This means your payment has been received, your questionnaire is complete and your blood work has been uploaded.
What if something is missing from my blood work?
If I think I need something else to complete the picture, I will contact you.
You do not need to worry about knowing exactly what I need before you start.
Is this the same as having a consultation with you?
No.
Your Blood Story is a specific, written blood work and cell salt analysis.
It does not include a live Zoom consultation.

Can I use the protocol with my doctor?
Absolutely.
In fact, I encourage you to keep your own healthcare professionals involved.
Your Blood Story is complementary support and is not intended to replace conventional medical care.
When do I pay?
Payment is made at checkout before you complete the questionnaire.
The current introductory price is US$149.
The regular price is US$197.
What is your refund policy?
Payment is taken at checkout before the questionnaire is completed.

Is my information confidential?
Your health information is personal, and I treat it accordingly.
The blood work and information you provide are used for the purpose of preparing your personalised Blood Story analysis.

Can I use old blood tests?
Recent blood work is preferred because it gives me the most current picture.
However, previous results can also be useful for context, particularly if there have been changes over time.
You can upload them alongside your recent results.
What if I am outside New Zealand?
No problem.
I work from New Zealand and can provide Your Blood Story internationally.
The questionnaire is currently in English, and your blood work can come from a laboratory in another country.
What happens after I purchase?
You will be taken straight to the questionnaire.
You will complete your health information and upload your blood work.
Once I have everything I need, I will work through your results and prepare your personalised PDF.
You will receive it by email within five working days of your complete intake.
