How to send your blood work
It is easier than you might think.
You do not need to request a special form or have your doctor send anything directly to me.
Once you have purchased Your Blood Story, you will be taken to the questionnaire.
That is where you will upload your blood test results.
You can send
A photo
If you have a printed copy of your results, simply take a clear photo and upload it.
You can also take a photo of results displayed on a screen, as long as the writing is clear and readable.
A PDF
If your doctor, clinic or laboratory has provided your results electronically, you can upload the PDF.
Multiple files
If your results are spread over several pages, that is completely fine.
You can upload more than one file.
Your files are sent to me and used for preparing your Blood Story analysis. My privacy page explains what I collect and how to ask me about it.
You can also include previous blood results if you have them and think they may provide useful context.
What sort of blood tests do I need?
There is not one special blood test that you need to have done specifically for Your Blood Story.
If you have recently had routine blood work done, that is a good place to start.
Standard blood panels are fine.
If I need something additional to complete the picture, I will let you know.
If you do not have recent blood work, you will need to arrange this through your own doctor or laboratory before purchasing the analysis.
What if my results are from another country?
That is fine.
I work from New Zealand and can work with people internationally.
Your blood work can come from a laboratory in another country.
The questionnaire itself is currently in English.
If there is something in your results that I cannot clearly read or understand, I will let you know.
What happens to my blood work?
Your results remain your personal health information.
Your Blood Story is not a laboratory and it is not a medical clinic.
I use the information you provide to prepare your personalised complementary health protocol.
I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and I do not replace your doctor.
If something in your results raises a question that I think should be discussed with your doctor, I will tell you.
When will I receive my protocol?
I will personally review your information and prepare your PDF.
You will receive it by email within five working days of receiving your complete intake.
That means payment has been made, your questionnaire is complete and your blood work has been uploaded.
