Privacy and your health information

Your blood work and your health story are personal, and I treat them accordingly.

This page explains what Your Blood Story collects, why, who sees it and how you can contact me about it. Your Blood Story is part of Wholebeing Health, my complementary health practice, and I am Kirsty Richards, DipHomNZ RCHom, based in Whangaparaoa, New Zealand.

Your Blood Story is a complementary health service. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a laboratory and it is not a substitute for medical advice.

What I collect

When you pay

Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout page. You enter your card details there, not on this website. Stripe asks for your email address, card details, cardholder name and country, and lets me know that your payment has gone through.

When you complete the questionnaire

After payment you complete the questionnaire. It asks for:

• your name, date of birth, email address, location and occupation, and your height and weight if you choose to give them
• your health goals, main concerns and symptoms, and when they began
• your blood work, uploaded as photos or PDFs, with the dates of your tests and anything you were told about the results
• your current medications and supplements, previous diagnoses, surgery, significant illnesses, allergies and relevant family history
• lifestyle information such as diet, caffeine, alcohol, exercise, sleep, stress, work, relationships, time outdoors, hydration and smoking or vaping
• your consent to me using this information to prepare your analysis

When you ask for the free tissue salts chart

I collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and the page you signed up on, so I can email you the chart.

When you visit the website

This website uses Google Analytics, the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. These use cookies and similar technology to record things like which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, the approximate location and how people arrived at the site. They also record when someone starts checkout, completes a purchase or asks for the free chart. This helps me understand how the website is used and whether my advertising is working.

Why I collect it

I use your blood work and questionnaire answers to prepare your personalised Blood Story analysis and cell salt protocol, and to email your PDF to you. I use your email address to reply to you and, if you asked for it, to send the free chart.

Who sees it

I personally review every analysis, so your questionnaire answers and blood work come to me. They are sent from the website to my email inbox through FormSubmit, a form delivery service, and my inbox is a Gmail account. When you ask for the free chart, the website emails it to you and lets me know, using Resend, an email delivery service. Cloudflare hosts this website.

Some of the services I use (Stripe, FormSubmit, Resend, Cloudflare, Google and Meta) may process information outside New Zealand.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask me for access to the personal information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it. You can also ask me to delete it, or to stop emailing you.

To do any of these, email me at [email protected]. I reply during business hours (NZT), Monday to Friday.

If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.

Changes

If I change how I handle your information, I will update this page.
